Do you want to improve your drawing skills? Join us for Drawing Club every Thursday evening. Here’s how this works:
Bring your own paper and choice of drawing medium. People frequently bring chalks, pens, markers, colored pencils, charcoal, graphite, pastels, and the occasional water color set.
We usually do some warm up exercies and then go into open draw where people draw what they want – still life, from photos or images, from their mind, etc.
Drawing Club is not focused on just one type of work. People who come are interested in still life drawing, cartooning, story boarding, illustration, you name it.
It’s a really low intimidation environment and people come to grow and learn. Although we do like to oogle nice drawings if you want to show them to every one.
5:30 – $1 tacos at Guadalajara Restaurant (2nd street)
6:00 – Drawing Club (129 W2nd Street – the Muscatine non-profits building)
Come for one or both – we’re easy going!
