DoNight started as a time to get together and DO the things we all want to do but for some reason keep putting off. Whether you draw, paint, sculpt, write, etch, sketch, sew, or solder, come and DO what you DO. And spend time with people who DO too.
DoNight is growing into an Arts and DIY network offering workshops and classes to help share the wonderful skills we either know or want to learn.
In addition to classes, we still host our "DoNight" art/craft/project night several times a month - always free and open to everyone. There is usually a featured activity such as speed sketching or egg dying.
The best way to hear about DoNight's project nights, Classes & Workshops is through our mailing list. Join below.
Have you ever wanted to make paper? In this one day workshop, we will prepare pulp from recycled card stock and paper products, pick out beautiful or interesting natural items to embed in our paper, and then form sheet after sheet of luxurious paper that just screams, ‘look at me!’
Use your hand made paper for original gift cards, use it for painting or stick it in a frame unaltered for all to admire, or maybe even WRITE on it! Whatever you do with it, you will have fun learning the paper making process and creating your own unique sheets of paper to bring home.
What you need to know:
• Bring a sack lunch for yourself!
• Bring an old newspaper for pulp. (just the black and white sections - leave the shiny advertising section at home)
• Class fee $15
• 8 spaces available
Saturday, September 12 10:00am-3:30pm
