Incredible Post Cards!

Tuesday, February 9

When was the last time you sent a postcard?  (or for some people, when was the last time you sent anything in the mail?!)  A post card is almost a strange idea in the age of texting, Twitter, and cell phone pictures.  But receiving a hand written post card from a thoughtful friend is so much fun.  Creating and writing them is lots of fun too – especially with a few friends, old and new.

On Tuesday, February 9 we will make post cards that you can send to people you know, love, remotely care about, need to remind to send back the DVD you loaned them a year ago, or just want to say ‘HI’ to.  Of course you can also create a mystery  by sending a card without a name or return address!

We will have stamps on hand and will even take all your cards to the post office for you!   Bring $0.28 for every post card you want to send – We’ll take care of the rest.    (This part makes things really easy –  I know I would send a lot more real letters & cards if I didn’t have to take them to the post office!)

You can also bring things to work with if you want: old photographs, interesting paper or cards.  Or just come and use what is provided.  There will be plenty of card stock and other items to work with.

Come slow down, collect your thoughts, and write some postcards.   Its a great way to unwind and make someone’s day at the same time.
