Build an Effects Pedal!

Hand Wire your own Boutique Guitar Effects Pedal!

(Note: Sign up deadline is Thursday, Jan 28. This is now a one day class – see details below!!!)

Starts Saturday, February 6

Have you ever wanted to build your own effects pedal?  No simple screamer – this pedal is based on the Lovepedal ‘Eternity Burst’ – a handmade boutique pedal from a master circuit designer!

The Lovepedal website says,

“The Eternity Burst features the warmest, woodiest tone of all eternity units… many claim we sprinkle magic dust into these.. :)”

Note:  a couple original Eternity Burst units were listed on Ebay as of 2010-01-07 and they were up to $140.— each…people like these pedals!

Wait there’s more!
In addition to bringing home a great effects pedal,  this class comes with an invitation to later ‘tone tweaking’ sessions with the instructor.  At these hack sessions, you can explore how components affect signals – hook up your circuits to the oscilloscope to get visual feedback – and potentially develop your own circuits/sounds.

Instructor Aaron Auberg has been experimenting with this pedal on and off for a year now – tweaking and sending the modified design to musician friends around the country – and he is hearing good things!
